 Senior commercial real estate executive John Westerfield has held managing director positions with Morgan Stanley and Braddock Capital Management. Outside his extensive background in commercial property lending, John Westerfield is an active supporter of organizations that increase educational opportunities for young people. He funded an educational program coordinated by the membership association SkillsUSA for students at Roosevelt High School.
SkillsUSA delivers workforce development and technical skill training programs at more than 4,500 schools across the country. The organization launched the Jump into STEM! initiative to increase interest in science and technology careers among elementary and secondary school students. Jump into STEM uses interactive lessons to introduce young people to STEM-related career paths in diverse fields such as law, aviation, health science, and architecture.
